About
And I Stand (i.e. AIS, &IS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on challenges and life changing situations that can affect one’s well being in minority communities. While And I Stand targets the black community, And I Stand supports all communities of color to be empowered and confront the constraints of mental health issues, rape/sexual assault, domestic violence, and alcohol/drug abuse through advocacy, education, and support.
In addition, And I Stand collaborates with subject matter experts through the AIS Support Circle Network, that have years of experience providing services (e.g. counseling and resources) to assist with overcoming the above barriers plaguing minorities. Our AIS Support Circle Network provides individuals with services, tools, and a safe space free of judgement but filled with love to aid in the healing process.
At And I Stand, we believe that despite adversities with a strong support system centered around inspiration, compassion, and liberation, the will to rise and STAND is achievable beyond measures.
"Breaking generational curses and standing against adversities that oppress the Black community and other people of color screams empowerment"- And I Stand
